| As we
have done the past several years, the Mission is conducting the
annual candy fundraiser to generate funds. This will help
to offset the expenses incurred for our basketball
program. These profits plus the nominal activity fee
provide gym rentals as well as referees and staff who conduct
the schedule of games all winter.
On the day that your child is to be placed
on a team, we will be collecting all money. You are urged
to arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes before your child's scheduled
team selection time, so you can turn in money. This
must be done or your child will not be permitted to participate
in the scheduled team selection. Sorry, but there will be
no exceptions.
If you do not have the money turned in on
your child's team selection day, it must be turned in within the
next week. When that is done, your child will be placed on
a team. You must sell the entire box of candy or pay
for any unsold bars.
You are strongly encouraged to turn in
cash or possibly a check when paying for the candy. This
will help to make the collection go much faster and be more
convenient for everyone. Please, no coins if possible.
Anyone who wishes to sell more than one
box of candy may do so. We ask you to turn in the money
for the previous box of candy before you pick up another
box. We really appreciate your support!
Anyone selling 4 boxes of candy or more
will receive a Pekin Basketball sweatshirt. |
