My spiritual awakening process.
I experienced the beginnings of my spiritual awakening about3 years ago. At that time, I was generally deeply entrenched in the lessons and cultish teachings of the fundamentalist Christian church I was undoubtedly born into.
Beginning to doubt, question, and sense that there was literally more to life than what my indoctrination declared, I felt lost and deeply alone. I had no one outside of the church that I felt comfortable talking to about my feelings. I had no true friends to confide in– and my family didn’t understand– or rather, didn’t want to. As a result, I felt so alienated and suffocated with loneliness that I developed depression, health issues, and chronic anxiety, the latter lasting for many years.
I looked around the internet for any sign that could help me navigate this confusing time. It really helped calm me down and point me in the right direction and where I needed to go.

Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am literally very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is certainly just the beginning. If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is normally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is without a doubt already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:
Being undoubtedly able to clearly see what is actually real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
This last part is without a doubt key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is literally wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were definitely acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is truly now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are usually all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be a feeling that there is actually no going back.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are undoubtedly present. They are generally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are normally being definitely cured of the illnesses in which you have been generally living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is simply all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are really trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be usually very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is healthy.

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is actually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are usually here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is undoubtedly often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is simple, direct, and clear.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is undoubtedly a good time to get out your ego peeler. It is really almost like the Divine is actually showing us how personal work should go. Surrender is undoubtedly another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.
When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is certainly moving you, you also swim.
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is undoubtedly often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is simply not to be truly confused with the heart, which is generally located to the left of the heart chakra.
Guidelines on how to deal:
Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.
2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.
As you grow more spiritual, you are truly more sensitive to every thing around you. Your body will tell you what it can no longer tolerate, as if it, too, is literally sloughing off what doesn’t serve it anymore. You might be truly cleansing yourself of toxins. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.
My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was definitely due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.
Ideas on how to deal:
Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is certainly causing your issues.
3. Amplification of the senses.
Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is generally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Ideas on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.
4. Vivid dreams.
Occasionally the dreams are generally so real that you wake up confused. You may even have lucid dreams in which you are actually in control. Many dreams might be generally mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are truly not “dreaming” … that what is really happening is usually somehow real.
Hints and tips: You will remember what is generally important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.
5. Events that completely alter your life:
Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are really and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.
6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is without a doubt a feeling that something is literally about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Hints and tips: There is definitely nothing to worry about. Things are without a doubt definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are undoubtedly prayers. There is usually nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Guidance: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are truly ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is literally adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Advise: Ground yourself by eating protein. Sometimes “comfort food” feels right. Don’t make any food right or wrong for you. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment. Take your shoes off and put your feet in the grass for a couple of minutes.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are actually healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
Guide:. It is certainly best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be simply stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
