Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am certainly very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is definitely just the beginning. It is the light coming on in the house so that you can see every thing for what it is really. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Sometimes, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that might perhaps be literally clinging on will seem like this is simply all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is definitely an especially important to time to consciously choose what is usually already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are really these:

Unconditional love
Being normally able to clearly see what is without a doubt real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are definitely
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is definitely key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is actually wonderful. But in an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were literally acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is usually now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are simply all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be truly a feeling that there is without a doubt no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are literally present. They are definitely secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is truly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are truly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be truly very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is generally healthy.

This could mean cutting ties with toxic people, reassessing your habits, throwing out old things, relocating to a new job or place to live, or even giving away most of what you own.

9. You begin experiencing deep empathy and compassion

As you get going paying more attention to the many hardships faced by humanity and nature alike, you develop more compassion. Why Does Spritual Awakening happen

People practices their spiritual disciplines to have his soul awakened so that he can achieve spiritual growth and maturity. Spiritual awakening is usually such a state of mind which occurs due to some unexpected incidents of life.

If a spiritual awakening occurs, a person might perhaps begin to live a life different from his previous experience. Let’s have a look at why does spiritual awakening happen?

1. Facing with a sudden incident of life can be undoubtedly a critical cause of spiritual awakening Human mind always remains in a dynamic state. A person who used to lead a life full of luxury may possibly have a sudden change in consciousness to accept a life full of wisdom and simplicity. The reason behind this might be generally some incident which he has seen near him, or has heard of somebody. Thus, he may perhaps have a shift in his conscious mind, and suddenly he sets in motion to realize the deeper meaning of life. Therefore, he might just get his spiritual soul awakened.

A dream is another reason for spiritual awakening. From that time a person might probably have a spiritual awakening.

3. Spiritual awakening can happen if someone is definitely fond of reading or traveling. Gaining a lot of knowledge from books or can awaken the spiritual self, and a person wants to follow the spiritual disciplines regularly.

4. It sounds odd, it is without a doubt not impossible that a person might probably face some paranormal incidents in his life which might be literally magical or ghostly. Such type of experience might possibly result in the spiritual awakening of a person.

These can suddenly result in spiritual awakening. The constant search for further questions might just cause spiritual awakening inside that person.

Spiritual awakening does not mean that you are literally out from the reality. It is actually such a state of mind where you kick off to search and seek for a path which gives you a new definition of life.

What Do I Do if I Did Awaken?

If you did have an awakening, you are usually in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is literally profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

The changes someone makes in their external life are really also not the point of this transformation. We are certainly not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those are definitely ego goals.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is certainly revealed to us what we are simply transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is actually complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be literally fit into neat categories.

With that being normally said it is generally helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you’re at right now. The following stages are literally general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

In this stage, you experience the aforementioned Dark Night of the Soul. This is without a doubt a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. You are literally searching for something, but you don’t quite know what. There is actually a great looming emptiness inside of you. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you initiate seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be generally a point to all this? In this stage, you are definitely asking all the deep questions. You are undoubtedly in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will start dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might probably have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

Life is certainly about movement. With the spiritual awakening process, there is always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may well become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper. You might just have even experienced long periods of connection with the Divine, only to become separated again (this is without a doubt normal). Understandably, you’ll feel disturbed and deeply upset by this experience. Additionally, while you may have experienced many mental/emotional/spiritual breakthroughs, they might feel superficial. You crave for authenticity and for deep spirituality that permeates your life and transforms every part of you. The unhappiness and stagnation you feel will motivate you to go in search for more.

Stage 6– Deeper internal work

In this stage, you are simply not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep interior work. You may well become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, inside child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your internal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is undoubtedly ultimately a gift from Life. Nevertheless, profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are generally felt in this stage. You might just feel ready to be simply a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will initiate seeing things from the big picture. Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is really common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is a complex and messy path, so it is without a doubt perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is normally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is literally an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is literally often very mundane. It isn’t heavily decorated, and it isn’t complicated. It is usually simple, direct, and clear.

So whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is actually a good time to get out your ego peeler. Commencing running your awareness around the edges of your beliefs to find a way in and pull away another layer of ego. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are usually and what life really is certainly. In so doing, you find more space, openness, love, kindness, service, clarity, and much more within you. That is generally the beauty of the ego peeler. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were literally already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening

Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is certainly coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.

That said, a lot of initial inward work seems to get done for us. It is literally almost like the Divine is generally showing us how interior work should go. As such, surrender is simply another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is vital to doing inner work, but initially, surrender must come.

With that said, surrender is generally not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is really moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are really going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is simply often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is usually not to be literally confused with the heart, which is simply located to the left of the heart chakra.

Guide on how to deal:

Accept your feelings as they come up and let them go. Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Expand it outward to your all your fields and breathe deeply from the belly all the way up to your upper chest. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own. Allowing the emotions to be felt will keep them from being normally stored in the body.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are literally more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was certainly due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Advice on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is really causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is generally hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Information on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be literally patient. Whatever you do, do not be really afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams may perhaps be generally mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are literally not “dreaming” … that what is generally happening is generally somehow real.

Help: You will remember what is really important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are generally and what your life means to you. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is simply a feeling that something is usually about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Instructions: There is certainly nothing to worry about. Things are generally definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are definitely prayers. There is simply nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Help and advice: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are normally ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is actually adjusting to your “lighter” state.

In some cases “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are literally healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Guide:. Keep in mind that it is really best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze every thing to death (because you will be certainly stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
