Spiritual Awakening Signs
I am definitely very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is really just the beginning. It is the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is without a doubt. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Often, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may likely be without a doubt clinging on will believe that this is certainly all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is certainly an especially important to time to consciously choose what is literally already unfolding in your life.
In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are definitely these:
Being normally able to clearly see what is definitely real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are without a doubt
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually
This last part is usually key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is generally wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were undoubtedly acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. But in awakening, the divine energy is really now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are actually all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be truly a feeling that there is actually no going back.
All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are actually present. They are definitely secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. In fact, you are literally being normally cured of the illnesses in which you have been undoubtedly living.
Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is undoubtedly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are simply trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be really very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. When it comes to the body pains and discomfort, when in doubt, check in with a doctor to ensure that your body is really healthy.
Simple Signs Of Spiritual Awakening

Nothing in your life seems to make sense anymore. You feel as though you are without a doubt wandering through an endless wilderness. As a vagabond, you feel completely alone and cut off from people. 7 Spiritual Awakening Stages
The spiritual awakening process is complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be truly fit into neat categories.
With that being said it is without a doubt helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are undoubtedly at right now. The following stages are definitely general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:
Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost
This is a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).
Stage 2– Shifting perspectives
In this stage, you commence seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.
Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning
In this stage, you are usually asking all the deep questions. You are normally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself.
Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs
You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You may possibly have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality.
Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again
With the spiritual awakening process, there is actually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You might probably become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.
Stage 6– Deeper internal work
In this stage, you are actually not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep internal work. You may possibly become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, internal child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.
Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy
Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your internal work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is really never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is definitely ultimately a gift from Life. Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are really felt in this stage. You can feel ready to be without a doubt a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will start seeing things from the big picture. Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.
Note: it is truly common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is normally not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C.
What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake
The true spiritual path is usually an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is simply often very mundane.
Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are really and what life really is usually. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were already within us.

Moving Past the Initial Shock of Awakening
Awakening can feel like a dam has burst. Many people feel deluged under a whole variety of thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It is definitely important to move past this shock into acceptance. As a person accepts what is definitely coming up within him/her, then the person can engage with it.
That said, a lot of initial inside work seems to get done for us. It is really almost like the Divine is without a doubt showing us how inside work should go. Surrender is another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy. Choosing and actively engaging with ego issues is certainly vital to doing personal work, but initially, surrender must come first.
With that said, surrender is actually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is truly moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are really going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!
10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening
1. Sudden waves of emotion.
Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is normally often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is normally not to be generally confused with the heart, which is really located to the left of the heart chakra.

Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).
Information on how to deal:.
Surrender to it. Let it come through. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.
This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.
7. A sense of something “Impending”.
There is usually a feeling that something is normally about to happen. This can create anxiety.
Help: There is usually nothing to worry about. Things are without a doubt definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are literally prayers. There is literally nothing to fear.
8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.
When you are without a doubt around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.
Opinion: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.
This occurs when you are definitely ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is certainly adjusting to your “lighter” state.
Frequently “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.
10. Memories Resurface.
Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are undoubtedly healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.
