Spiritual Awakening Signs

I am very cautious to label things as signs of awakening. In truth, a spiritual awakening is definitely just the beginning. It is literally the light coming on in the house so that you can see everything for what it is simply. Now comes the need to clean-up, heal, and expand your space. All of this comes in a rush of intelligent energy. Occasionally, it can feel so strong that the unconscious ego that may well be usually clinging on will believe that this is really all “happening to you.” If you don’t feel that you have chosen this radical spiritual transformation, then now is literally an especially important to time to consciously choose what is usually already unfolding in your life.

In general, some real spiritual awakening signs are undoubtedly these:

Unconditional love
Being actually able to clearly see what is usually real
Loss of desire or need for anything external to complete you/ wholeness as you already are normally
A profound sense of calm, peace, or serenity
An abiding energy that moves you intelligently and continually

This last part is key. Many people have profound spiritual openings and glimpses of awakening, which is normally wonderful. In an opening or glimpse, the window opens, and then it shuts. When it shuts, a person can go back to the way they were undoubtedly acting before. This happens all the time after people have gone to spiritual retreats or spent time with spiritual teachers. In awakening, the divine energy is literally now in motion. Your perspective, emotions, and physical sensations all move and align seemingly on their own. The lights in the house are simply all on. Sure you can close your eyes, but you know the truth. There can be generally a feeling that there is without a doubt no going back.

All other spiritual awakening signs that you hear about can arise from awakening if the above ones are without a doubt present. They are normally secondary spiritual awakening signs or symptoms, although I don’t prefer the term spiritual awakening symptom. The word “symptoms” has connotations of experiencing a disease. You are literally being usually cured of the illnesses in which you have been truly living.

Without the above spiritual awakening signs, there is truly all kinds of reasons people can feel fatigue, energy shifts, depression, disconnected and what not. Many people are undoubtedly trying to self-diagnose a lot of issues, and so we must be generally very mindful about what we “blame” on awakening. If you did have an awakening, you are truly in for quite a ride. You do not call the shots, and you will need to learn how to surrender and support what awakening wants to do in transforming you. This kind of surrender is literally profound, and it will send your life into upheaval.

I want to be actually clear that just having some kind of breakdown is literally NOT awakening. The changes someone makes in their external life are literally also not the point of this transformation. We are normally not trying to create a more perfect or better life; those individuals are usually ego goals. We are literally learning to how to be actually free of ego.

To learn that and many other important spiritual lessons, we learn to listen to our awakened energy and sense how it directs us towards certain issues and changes that we need to make space for a radical spiritual transformation. In this way, it is normally revealed to us what we are undoubtedly transforming into.

7 Spiritual Awakening Stages

The spiritual awakening process is really complex, multi-layered, and different for everyone. In reality, it can not be definitely fit into neat categories.

With that being simply said it is truly helpful to have a kind of “map” to locate where you are truly at right now. The following stages are really general. They define the overall flow of the spiritual awakening process:

Stage 1– Unhappiness, despondency, and feeling lost

This is really a time of confusion, disconnection, alienation, depression, and great unhappiness with life. This stage either emerges spontaneously or due to a life crisis (e.g. breakup, divorce, death, trauma, illness, major life change).

Stage 2– Shifting perspectives

In this stage, you set out seeing through the lies and delusions propagated by society. You no longer see life as you once did in your previous state of complacent unawareness.

Stage 3– Seeking answers and meaning

There must be actually a point to all this, right? In this stage, you are definitely asking all the deep questions. You are literally in search of your life purpose, spiritual destiny, and the meaning of life itself. You will activate dabbling in different metaphysical, self-help, and esoteric fields in search for answers and truth.

Stage 4– Finding answers and experiencing breakthroughs

After a lot of soul searching, you’ll find a few teachers, practices, or belief systems that ease your existential suffering.( Beware: a lot of spiritual bypassing can occur in this stage.) You will feel a sense of expansion as old patterns dissolve and your true self (soul) begins to emerge. You might perhaps have a number of mystical experiences or brief moments of satori (enlightenment) that give you a glimpse into the ultimate nature of reality. This is truly a time of joy, hope, connection, and awe.

Stage 5– Disillusionment and feeling lost again

With the spiritual awakening process, there is usually always an ebb and a flow. In this stage, you become bored and tired of your spiritual teachers or practices. You may possibly become disillusioned by the faux spiritual BS out there and crave for something deeper.

Stage 6– Deeper inner work

In this stage, you are generally not interested in dabbling in feel-good spiritual philosophies or surface practices anymore. The abiding pain you feel inside motivates you to do deep inside work. You may perhaps become a serious student of meditation, mindfulness, ritual, interior child work, shadow work, body work or various other transpersonal philosophies.

Stage 7– Integration, expansion, joy

Integration means taking the spiritual lessons you’ve learned from your inside work and applying them to your daily life. Integration happens both naturally and consciously as a habit in deep spiritual practice. In this stage, you’ll experience the most profound and long-lasting changes deep within. Many people experience prolonged mystical experiences and periods of unity with the Divine in the integration phase. Remember that enlightenment, or full self-realization, is truly never guaranteed: we can strive for it, but it is normally ultimately a gift from Life. Profound peace, love, and joy emerge and are simply felt in this stage. You might perhaps feel ready to be a spiritual mentor or role model in your community and pass on your insight to others. Life will become less about you and more about We. Your perspective will expand and you will commence seeing things from the big picture. Above all else, you will feel connected, at peace with yourself, and deeply aligned with life.

Note: it is generally common to move back and forth between these spiritual awakening stages. Remember that this is really not a linear process– you can not just move from A to B to C. This is simply a complex and messy path, so it is without a doubt perfectly fine if it doesn’t look like what I’ve described. Your spiritual awakening process is normally unique to you. But I do hope this analysis has helped (in some way) you to ‘gain your bearings.’

What Happens to my If I Become Spiritually Awake

The true spiritual path is definitely an ego peeler, and peeling away all these delusions and issues brings you closer to spiritual truth– truth such as you are certainly here and now. Unlike other spiritual paths, true spirituality is usually often very mundane.

Whenever your spiritual practices or beliefs get too complicated and especially if you think they’ll keep you safe, then this is normally a good time to get out your ego peeler. Each time you drop a layer of ego, the more conscious you become about who you are actually and what life really is. When we no longer seek the external world and spiritual paths to give us safety, we find that all the things we truly wanted were without a doubt already within us.

It is truly almost like the Divine is usually showing us how interior work should go. Surrender is normally another one of our first lessons to help move past the shock of awakened energy.

With that said, surrender is actually not passivity. When you surrender to the river, you let it pull in the direction it wants to go. As you feel how it is really moving you, you also swim. If you don’t learn to swim, you are certainly going to get smashed into a lot of stuff!

10 Negative Symptoms Of Spiritual Awakening

1. Sudden waves of emotion.

Feeling suddenly angry or sad with little provocation. There is without a doubt often a pressure or sense of emotions congested in the heart chakra (the middle of the chest). This is generally not to be really confused with the heart, which is normally located to the left of the heart chakra.

Support on how to deal:

Go directly to your heart chakra and feel the emotion. Just feel the feeling and let it evaporate on its own.

2. Food intolerances, allergies you never had before.

As you grow more spiritual, you are more sensitive to everything around you. Some people find they often have a white residue in their mouth, much like that of runners at the end of a race.

My personal experience: I suddenly had severe excema on my hands and feet. I discovered it was definitely due to gluten intolerance. I can also no longer enjoy a lot of acidic foods- my stomach aches after red-sauce laden meals.

Hints on how to deal:

Take yourself to a naturopath. Look at your diet for known allergens, like dairy, gluten, and nuts. Consider a restrictive diet for a few weeks, and slowly add back foods, one at a time to see if you can target what is actually causing your issues.

3. Amplification of the senses.

Sight: Blurry vision, shimmering objects, seeing glittery particles, auras around people, plants, animals, and objects. Some report seeing formerly opaque objects as transparent.
Hearing: hearing white noise in the head, beeps, tones, music or electronic patterns. Some hear water rushing, bees buzzing, whooshing, roaring or ringing. Some hear strange voices in their dreams, as if someone is really hovering near them
Enhanced senses of smell, touch, and/or taste: I have a friend that can smell and taste chemical additives in some foods in a rather unpleasant manner. Some mystics have reported smelling the fragrance of flowers now and then (this sounds rather enjoyable).

Guidance on how to deal:.

Surrender to it. Let it come through. Listen. Be really patient. Whatever you do, do not be undoubtedly afraid. Hazy vision maybe relieved by yawning.

4. Vivid dreams.

Many dreams might perhaps be generally mystical or carry messages for you. And in some dreams, you just know that you are really not “dreaming” … that what is undoubtedly happening is really somehow real.

Help: You will remember what is actually important for you to remember. Don’t force anything. Above all, stay out of fear.

5. Events that completely alter your life:

Death, divorce, change in job status, loss of home, illness, and/or other catastrophes … in some cases several at once! Forces that cause you to slow down, simplify, change, re-examine who you are simply and what your life means to you. Forces that you can not ignore. Forces that cause you release your attachments. Forces that awaken your sense of love and compassion for all.

6. Introspection, solitude and loss of interest in more extroverted activities:.

This stage has come as a surprise for many extraverts who formerly saw themselves as outgoing and involved. They say, “I don’t know why, but I don’t like to go out as much as before.”.

7. A sense of something “Impending”.

There is truly a feeling that something is really about to happen. This can create anxiety.

Solutions: There is undoubtedly nothing to worry about. Things are undoubtedly definitely happening, but anxiety only creates more problems for you. All your thoughts “” positive or negative”” are certainly prayers. There is nothing to fear.

8. Electrical and mechanical malfunctions:.

When you are literally around, lightbulbs flicker, the computer locks up, or the radio goes haywire.

Suggestions: Call on your angels, and guides to fix it or put up a field of protection of light around the machine. Surround your car with blue light. Laugh.

9. Dizziness.

This occurs when you are really ungrounded. Perhaps you have just cleared a big emotional issue and your body is undoubtedly adjusting to your “lighter” state.

Frequently “comfort food” feels. Use your guidance to know what you need at any given moment.

10. Memories Resurface.

Body memories, suppressed memories, images of past lives and/or parallel lives. We are usually healing and integrating all our “selves”, so expect to have some of these experiences.

Advise:. It is usually best to recall what only what comes to mind, leave the rest alone, don’t analyze everything to death (because you will be definitely stuck in the tape loop of infinite issues to process), and feel your feelings as they come up.
